The role of the Outdoor Coordinator is to ensure the provision of an exciting outside space for children, reflecting the Company’s educational approach. This space must be safe for children to explore with freedom, and appropriate risk-taking and problem-solving opportunities must be supported.
The Outdoor Lead role will be incorporated within your Practitioner role.
The Outdoor Lead has Responsibility for:
Overseeing the provision of an outstanding outdoor environment in accordance with the Company approach and curriculum areas and meeting all seven areas of learning within the EYFS
Lead the setting in risk assessment and risk intelligence in the outdoor environment
Supporting practitioners to work effectively in the outdoor environment through training and mentoring
Ensuring resources and activities are maintained and well-prepared
Leading on the provision of synergy between indoor and outdoor learning space
