This is possibly the only nursery in the country with panoramic sea views. The Nature Nursery at Durlston is situated within the former Visitor Centre at Durlston Country Park in Swanage, Dorset. This intimate nursery combines a beautiful classroom and kitchen with a delightfully large outdoor area, surrounded by the Durlston's National Nature Reserve.
The gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site - running all the way from Exmouth in the west to Old Harry Rocks. It's also designated as Heritage Coast, Special Area of Conservation, Site of Special Scientific Interest, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and National Nature Reserve.
Durlston is a superb outdoor classroom, with a wealth of opportunities to enhance the study of geography, science, history, art and much more. The spectacular coastal scenery includes headlands and bays, hundreds of wildlife species, and a rich geological history.
Ages 2 - 5 years
Opening Hours 8am - 5pm, 51 weeks of the year. Morning, afternoon, full-day places are available as well as full-year and term-time places
Daily fee £40. Includes organic lunch and snacks, nature school sessions in the country park, visiting artist fees, cooking sessions and relaxation sessions.
Morning session from 8am to 1pm £23
